An inflatable air dancer
An Inflatable Air Dancer is a large inflatable device consisting of a long tubelike sleeve attached to a powered fan blower, which causes the sleeve to move in a dancing or flailing motion. Simple Inflatable Air Dancer resemble a vertical tube, but variants resembling humans with tube "arms" are also common. Airdancers are generally about 20 feet in total height and are often used as attention-getters for businesses such as car dealerships.
A parody Air dancer ad appeared on the cartoon Family Guy as "Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man", spoofing used car ads with Al Harrington claiming to be overstocked due to a shipping error. In the Star Wars parody episode "Blue Harvest", "Darth" Harrington appeared selling a futuristic Air dancer- the "Intergalactic Proton-Powered Electrical Tentacled Advertising Droid".
An Inflatable Air Dancer designed to resemble Elvis Presley was stolen in Liverpool, England in 2006, resulting in a human-interest story in the local press.
Appeared at the Microsoft 2010 E3 Press Conference as a Kinect demonstration.
